Sorry if this has been posted about before, but I'm currently a Vet Med student in the US and my dream is to work internationally in the UK or Australia. Does anyone have experience with this? Do we have to take another boards exam to work internationally on top of that for your state? What about citizenship and work Visas? What would I need to do to work long-term as a Vet internationally? Does anyone have any tips about the financial costs and finding affordable housing/transportation in the UK/Australia? I've never been to either yet but I'm hoping to check it out a little during my externships in my junior year. I'm specifically interested in exotics/zoo medicine/wildlife + SA.
