I applied to Ph.D. programs in psycholgy and recently received my 1st phone interview invite for 2 weeks from now.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice for interviews? I.e. types of questions asked and all that fun stuff. I want to be prepared so any comments will help!

Thank you!

I second this! Any advice would be helpful. Would you be willing to share where you got an interview? I bet a lot of us are curious 🙂

Penn State. 🙂 I am super excited but I have to pass the phone interview to get an invite for the on-campus interview.

Congrats!! University of Vermont does the same thing, and I am on the edge of my seat hoping to get a phone interview there.

Really?? I applied there too. Now you got me thinking about them 🙂

It's actually one of my top choices. I think it's a long shot for me because I only listed one POI. This person happens to be a perfect match for my interests; I only hope that they give me a chance! 🙂

There's definitely already a thread on this. Search!

Also, try googling it. I found a great list of questions that I tailored to fit each program I interviewed at.

There are also list of possible questions in the Getting In and Insider's Guide book. I have looked at some and they seem helpful to think about 🙂
