Advice needed: 3.69 GPA, 34P MCAT, TX Resident

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
First time poster. Man, reading everyone else's stats and seeing responses is kind of freaking me out. :/

Don't worry about what you see here. SDN posters are not representative of the general applicant population.

Your stats should be fairly competitive for most TX schools (your GPA is a little below the median for UTSW/Baylor, but your MCAT is pretty good). Just make sure you get some clinical experience / clinical volunteering.

Do your floor hosting duties for MD Anderson include patient contact of some sort? If not, you might want to try volunteering at a local hospital on the side.
