Advice needed for re-app

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I think the most important thing will be to call each of the schools at which you interviewed and ask for their feedback - were you rejected from them or are you waiting to hear back? Also, practice interviewing. If you got interviews, your numbers are not a deal-breaker, although their weakness may be preventing you from closing the deal.

Gpa 3.3 undergrad bio degree from ut san antonio

3 interviews (0 acceptances as of yet)

remarkable ec, volunteer and clinical experience
(icu lvn, emt, military medic)

what do you all think i should do to raise my gpa??

Im considering doing a post bac which will entail moving 800+miles

or

taking additional upper level science courses
(i.e, neurobiology, intro to clincial medicine and pathology, molecular biology, etc.

How do you think medical schools will look upon just taking a semester or 2 of upper level courses at my undergrad university vs. Doing a standard post bac??

I also plan on retaking the mcat before re-applying..

Any advice appreciated

Are you applying allopathic or osteopathic?

What was your MCAT scores?

How long ago did you get your UG degree.

It seems that the ADCOMs may pay less weight to an older GPA if you do well on MCAT, especially with your EC's.

I don't know that I am qualified togive advice, but it would seem a little more information might lead to a better plan.....In the absence of the other info, I would say spend your time knowcking out the MCAT. A better score will only improve your odds
