What types of 1 year programs (for applicants with only bachelor degree) are out there?

I thought you guys have more exposure to the healthcare opportunities available so I'm posting here, I haven't yet myself got into medical schools yet. In fact, that's why I am asking that question because I'm now seriously reconsidering to wait a cycle before applying. But I want to first make sure I can spend that year usefully but I think I'm running out of ideas here... hopefully I can hear some advice from you:

So I am interested in doing something related to health care outreach, clinical sciences, and surgery. In particular, I'm hoping to get some 1 year master degree or certificate at some university. This way I would feel better to take a year off. Because I'm already a little behind... but long story short:

I have considered the MPH or MSPH programs, but those mostly take 2 years... Anyone know if any schools offer 1 year program that take applicants fresh out of undergrad schools with a bachelor degree?

Or, do you know of other 1 year certified programs available that may be related to healthcare outreach or surgery? is there something called surgical technologists? or msph? or...??? If you have any idea or suggestions on what accredited programs (preferrably at a top 4-year university) would you please let me know? I would really really appreciate it.

You might want to look in the post bacc forum. Many people there are doing a 1 yr special masters program. They might be able to help you. Take care and have a nice day.

It sounds like you would like to do an enrichment program rather than repeating your premed courses, so specifically look at this site: http://www.sunysb.edu/healthed/enrichment.html
