Advice needed! (Test date)

I'm scheduled to take the exam this upcoming Wed Aug 10th. But I'm very undecided on whether or not to push it a week to Wed Aug 17th.

Reason why is because I took the science section of Topscore 2 and got the following results.

Bio 18/GC 17/ Orgo 16!!

I went through it and for GC and Orgo made at least 3-4 stupid "i know this!" remarks in each section, but still, very poor performance.

Aside from the topscore results, I'm getting scared about taking the DAT "so late" in the cycle. Is mid august pretty late in the cycle in your opinions? Or is 1 week not that big of a deal in the big picture.

Would love to hear some opinions from all you SDNers. Really at a standstill whether to move to date one extra week....

1 week isnt that bad, it wont make or break you. meanwhile postponing to Sept will def hurt. just make sure you have enough time to fix your mistakes and see what you can do! 18 in bio is great, but the OC needs work. see if you can cram that and take it when you're ready.

tighten up everything you know and take one final test. If your not happy then push it back

Push it back. No difference between Aug 10 and Aug 17 in the app cycle.

push it the hell back. you don't want to end up in my situation and have taken it too early (last week) and have to take it again in like november. talk about late in the cycle!

I would say take it all in aggragate. How well do you feel you know your stuff? how long have you prepped? As you said was it a specific area you need to work on or a stupid mistake?

The reason I say this is b/c my friend took a topscore 4 days before his test and got a 13 in Ochem. On his real test he scored a 23. Most of his other tests were around a 19 - though that one test really scared him lol. GL whatever you decide.
