Advice needed/Thoughts on Situation

So I had 3 pre December interviews at Lecom, Nova, and UF. Attended all of them and unfortunately got waitlisted at Nova and UF. As far as Lecom their portal says: "Your file is under review by the Admissions Committee. We will notify you as soon as a decision has been made." (If anyone knows if this means a rejection please let me know). I also have an interview at Touro in January.

If anyone has any words of advice/encouragement for me I'd appreciate it. I really am disappointed right now, and I'm trying to think of what I could do to try and make myself a more competitive applicant. As far as my stats I have a oGPA of 3.67, sGPA of 3.72, 20 AA/21 TS. 300+ shadowing hours with 3 different dentists, lots of EC's and volunteer hours, as well as research done.

Should I began looking into reapplying or is there still a chance?

Im in the same boat as u and received an email saying my file was "under review" after having interviwed there pre-dec. I think this is just the school's way of saying "Waitlisted" cz if they didnt like us, they would have simply rejected us. So what im thinking is that other interviewed applicants appealed to them more than us, but that if those applicants decline the acceptance, we're next to be offered the acceptance. It might take some time for us to hear back from them though cz ppl only start to decline the acceptances when the deposit deadline is up (dec.31st), so hopefully, we will get news from these schools in January! Anyways, u and I are not the only ones in this situation, and theres plenty of hope left so dont be disappointed wih urself 😉
