Hello Guys,
I had a question and I was actually also looking for some advice.
I am scheduled to take the DAT on the 22nd of Sept. Now, I've been studying for this test since mid-June and I have taken the Kaplan course as well. My studies aides have been the Kaplan blue book, Kaplan flashcards, Schuam's bio outline review, and topscore. I'm only half way done with Schaum's and I plan to take the my first topscore test this Saturday.
With all this said, I don't feel very comfortable taking the test on the 22nd. I was considering on rescheduling the test for winter break (after fall quarter).
Here is my question: If were to take the test on the 22nd and then one during winter break (considering i didn't like my first test result) and then ended up getting a lower score on my second test, which would dental school consider: the higher score of the two, or the last DAT i took?
The advice I need is this: would you guys advise me to take it when I feel more ready or take the test on the 22nd as well.
I really would like to avoid studying and taking the test during the school year. I wish I could get it over now before the school year starts which is at the end of September, but I want to make sure I do my best.
Also, I am planning on applying in June.
I have taken about six Kaplan DAT tests, and my scores for PAT and RC have been good, but my science scores are in the 17/18s.
Thanks!
