Advice needed!

I have no idea what to do..I paid to take the DAT back in February when I decided to take the DAT again (first attempt AA:17 TS:17 PAT:17 RC:18, second attempt AA:19 TS: 18 PAT: 18 or 17? RC: 21) because my mom thought a higher DAT would get me in to my state school (UAB) since I interviewed last cycle but didn't get in. So I paid for the test but I had NO IDEA there was a 6 month period I had to take it (stupid of me I know..). So now I've missed the 6 month mark and wasted the test fee money..my question is should I pay AGAIN and retake it or not retake it??

Yeah I applied much earlier this year, so I'm hoping that makes the difference :S I was 3rd or 4th batch. I have hundreds of shadowing hours because I'm an ortho assistant, I've assisted/shadowed a hundred hours of oral surgery, and I have 60 general shadowing hours. I just hope it's enough..

Unless you are aiming for Harvard, do not retake. You seem like a solid candidate with your current statistics.

I applied to UT-Memphis, UAB, UofL, LECOM, Tufts, and Case..I know some of these are out of DAT range for me, but I don't have a whole lot of options regionally since the south loves their in-staters
