I am currently a sophmore at the university of georgia with 56 hours. My gpa is about a 3.4 overall and in science. If i work my ass off I can graduate early and also take the dat's in the spring and apply early. Do you think my chances will be any worse or better if I graduate earlier than most traditional 4 year students?...I definitely want to do dentistry but I dont know when to apply. I'll be done with prereq's in the fall. Should I take on a double major and apply after my actual sr year or just apply next year? money is an issue. thanks.

I don't think it really matters. As long as graduating early doesn't jeapordize your GPA, go for it, but you may be better off taking your time to boost your GPA even more. 3.4 is solid, but if you try to squeeze too much in to graduate early, you risk lowering your GPA.
