Hey guys, I have some advice for y'all. I don't know if anyone else was having this problem, but everytime I tried to save the "additional info" page on my AACOMAS, it said that my PS was too long and I had to cut it down, even though it was under the required number of characters and worked before. Well, I found that if I just repaste my PS from a word processing file every time I want to save that page, it won't tell me that the PS is too long and it'll let me save. Does that make sense? Just hoping it helps someone, cuz I know I was really frustrated about that. 🙂

You have to remember to give them a taste on your Ps. I met with the rec ruiter at MSUCOM and she told me to be sure not to give too much becuase on the secondaries thwey give room to expand on your ps. Therefore you don want to spoil it, but rather you want to give them more detailed personal info on the secondaries! Not to say that you shouldn't make your ps special, but at the same time you want to really shine on your secondaries so you can truly distinguish yourself from others. You have to remember they give secondaries to all who meet minimum requirements, soon when you get secondaries your use that time to really expand on those initial ideas! I hope this helps

Yeah, it did that to me too. I just restated sentences using fewer words. You probably won't have to cut out too much, then it will allow you to save it.

yeah, but i'm saying you don't have to cut it down if you just repaste it....b/c i had to cut it down a bunch of times before i figured that out

****. I wish I would of seen this thread before submitting. I was on the phone with AACOMAS and it would not work at all. So, the guy told me to submit and in a week call him back and he will make whatever changes I want. I guess it is not a big deal in the long run but I like to do things myself. 🙄

Mine stil did it when I pasted it, so I figured I would just type it. I had read somewhere that sometimes if you cut and paste, you run the risk up screwing up the format as it appears to AACOMAS. I eventually did what I stated above.
