HI

I am currently applying; my file is complete at all my schools. I sent 3 good recommendations, min. required by most schools. I just found out that someone is willing to write a great recommendation for me. I was thinking I should wait after the interview, when get waitlisted or on hold and then have this person send recommendation to these schools specifically. Is this a good idea? or just have him send it to all schools now and have an extra one on file for them to review. The latter seems like it won't have much impact on my file as I already have 3 fairly good ones. What do you guys think?

actually its perfectly fine to keep sending "update" letters especially after your interview or if you're trying to get off a wait list
if you're overly concerned about this; i would call the schools and ask directly what they feel about getting "update" letters
you'll find that most schools welcome this
