Ivy league grad
approx. 3.3 cumulative, 3.0 sci
29 MCAT
I have pretty decent ECs - varsity athletics, lots of tutoring/volunteering (non post-grad though)/research
Currently in my second year of clinical neurology research at Johns Hopkins with several publications, including a first author abstract and a first author manuscript that was recently submitted to a journal with a decent impact factor.
I'm beginning to think about post-bac programs, but I'm finding it difficult to narrow the field down to just a few. I'm waitlisted at a DO school I'm not particularly fond of, and am interviewing at PCOM this month. Haven't heard anything positive from any MD programs. I'm in the DC area, so I definitely want to apply to Georgetown and GeorgeSquared. Does anyone have any advice as to the number of programs to apply to?
So far, I'm also thinking about BU, Tulane, Tufts, Temple, USC, Penn, and TCMC. How many should I apply to?
Any advice would be appreciated!! Thanks.
