Advice on school list!

Hi all,

I will be applying this cycle and wanted some advice on the schools I have so far and any that I may have missed. I'm an Asian California resident, oGPA 3.31 and sGPA 3.33, and DAT scores of TS18 PAT21 AA20. I'm planning on retaking the DAT in mid July hopefully bringing my TS and AA scores up. I have 120+ hours volunteer, 140+ hours shadow/intern, and am currently working at an oral and maxillofacial surgical center. I would prefer to stay in CA, but realize this may not happen. Here is my tentative list of schools I'm looking to apply to:

Should I still be applying to WICHE schools if CA is not considered a WICHE state for dentals schools? Are there any schools I should add/remove from this list?

Are you reapplying? Or first-timer and just not happy with your scores?

And what section(s) killed your TS?

I'm applying for the first time. I was on the fence about retaking, but was recommended to take the DAT again by my adviser because of my low GPA. My science scores were BIO 18, OCHE 19, CHE 18 so pretty much subaverage in two sections.

I hope your retake goes well! I think that a lot rides on your DAT retake to be honest. To me your school list looks okay as long as your DAT is a 21+. I'm not as experienced with the process as other people on here are tho.

Are you a junior/senior? Are you planning to do anything to raise that GPA? Do you have an upward trend?
