Sorry! I guess the other thread didn't come out too well. I'm planning taking the DAT at the end of July and I have a bunch of material that I hope to get through. I only have 3 weeks left so I wanted some advice on the best approach to studying. The materials I have are as follows: Topscore CD (3 tests), Dat Achiever (3 tests), Kaplan Blue Book CD, Kaplan Blue Book Tests (found inside), Kaplan Online Diagnostic, Barron's Practice Test, and all the Kaplan Subject Tests/Workshops.

I am not sure which tests I should use as a timed practice test under similar testing conditions and which ones I should just use as practice problems. I recall SDNers suggesting that TopScore should be saved as the last timed practice test, but what about DAT Aciever? Thanks everyone in advance. Your help is much appreciated!

What I did was designate days for specific subjects. BIO day, Gen Chem Day, etc...but no RC day. I would read material I wasn't sure on and then take practice questions. If i didn't know something on the practices questions I would refer back to a book or study notes. Something that I did that many people do not do is go over practice tests and questions as many times as I could. I didn't time myself. I would take about 1 practice test each week until you get to the week before the test. I took 2 tests but didn't want to do more as I thought I might just get more scared..

hope it helps.
