Hey everyone and thanks in advance. This will be my third cycle applying to dental school. The first cycle I had a 17AA, 16, TS and 15PAT. I received no interviews. The second cycle I was able to bring my DAT up to 18AA, 17TS, and 17PAT. Now this will be my third cycle and I'll be applying with a 21AA, 21TS, and 19PAT. I graduated in December 2017 with a biology degree. 3.86 GPA and 3.76 science GPA. 100 hours volunteering, 4000+ hours of work and shadowing experience in a dental office. I am a Louisiana resident.

The schools I am considering applying to are as follows:

1. LSU
2. LECOM
3. NOVA
4. Louisville
5. Roseman
6. Tufts
7. University of Connecticut
8. University of Colorado
9. Touro
10. University of Iowa
11. University of Alabama
12. University of Pittsburgh
13. University of Tennessee
14. Marquette

All schools are in no particular order besides my state school (LSU).

Are there any schools that you think I should remove/add?

I'm excited about this years cycle!

Thanks again!

Congratulations on bringing your DAT score up to 21 AA, a monumental step towards achieving your career goal. The stats will place you as a competitive applicant for most schools listed as considerations for this cycle. However, University of Connecticut has a historical enrollment favoring students residing in Northeastern states and University of Tennessee prefers students residing in Tennessee and Arkansas and is not very friendly for out of state applicants. I may consider adding a few more private institutions such as University of Detroit Mercy and Case Western Reserve University if you do see your career goals to align with the mission statement of each school. Best of luck!

Thank you very much for the input! I will definitely look into those schools!
