I have an interview at Boston next week and I'm trying to decide if I should reschedule the interview until after December 1st to see if I get into my first choice school. Does anyone know how much this will affect my chances at BU should I not get into my first choice school?

I thought about doing this for one of my interviews but I think schools will certainly know what it means when you reschedule after Dec. 1st. It is probably the equiv. of turning down the interview. It also turned out that neither USC or Arizona allow rescheduling so you may want to check on the at BU.

What if your first choice school does not accept you?

Do yourself a favor and stay in the pre dec 1st interview applicant pool.

I don't believe the schools are stupid...I believe they would know you aren't their first choice so why shld they make you theirs??

You have to play the game.

That is just my personal opinion.

I thought about doing this as well, but like everyone has said...it would suck to not get into your first choice school and then have ruined your chance at Boston. Plus...some schools are booked out to March or April. Just forget aout the money and go to the interview. Mac and Cheese goes a long way...

Good call. You have to look out for yourself first. Make sure you get in.
