So I just got my score and my PS/Verbal were 7/9.... My BS was absolute garbage. I may as well have guessed. (Which shocked me since I was getting a 9 usually)

Either way I'm going to do the SDN study plan (Any tips/ stories about the plan?) .... However I've used up all the AAMC except 7... What would you do in this situation.`

You HAVE TO save AAMC 7 to do last (a week or so before your exam), so that you get at least one legitimate score.

Just because you've done the other AAMC exams already, doesn't mean they can't prove useful. The scores you get will be biased, so they can't be used for diagnostic purposes. But they can be used for review.

I'd suggest that once a week you take an AAMC exam without worrying about the time and evaluate how you answer the question (background knowledge, POE, extraction from the passage, etc...). Find out how you answer their questions best. Then build your test strategies around that.

If you can, write down everything you recall from your actual MCAT and compare that to the the AAMC practice exams. This will only help if you can recall some things from your first exam. Figuring out what makes you struggle on the AAMC exams should help you to get an idea of what hurt you on your actual MCAT, which is the starting point to doing better this next time.

The good news is that the second time sitting requires less tedious review and more application. It's all about doing passages and working through answer explanations, which you'll be doing plenty of. Reviewing information and doing free standing questions can give you a false sense of security. Make sure you do plenty of passage-based questions this time.

I did SN2's plan but found the 1001's to be useless. If you are in dire need of content review the chem books may be helpful but I found the physics to be unnecessarily difficult.

Stick to it and keep reading TBR... I wasn't thrilled with my score either but after thinking about it retaking would be hard since I've used up most of my resources.

Good luck!

TPR Hyperlearning Verbal Workbook .... Is it better to get the newest version?

I don't think the year of TPRH really matters that much.
And I've said this before, but I actually think EK1001 is good for solidifying content knowledge. IMO since the TBR or AAMC FLs can't really cover every possible topic, using EK1001 can help you practice applying the knowledge and reveal your weakness in content.

One thing about TBR bio, if you decide to use TBR for bio content review don't spend too much time reviewing content with material you think you have a good grasp on. It's really pointless to take in all the extra information TBR tends to lay out since the actual MCAT will probably never use any information that was already used (I'm talking about the random type of information that really isn't covered in UG biology). Just browse through those material quickly (or use EK Bio for those chapters) and do the passages.

Has anyone done TBR Full lengths?

Since I have barely any AAMCs left.... I'm thinking of using these for the SDN study plan in place of AAMCs
