Im in my third semester at a community college and i was taking 16 units but i had to drop my math class for personal issues with my family right now but will it be a big deal that im only taking 11 units now? i hope to make it up next sesmester by taking 17 units. will dental schools look down on this? is it still early in my college career for it to matter too much? please any info will help?

i wouldn't worry about it at all if i were you. But the fact that you care enough to ask about whether it's an issue or not is a great sign. stay cool like a fish.

Your situation doesn't sound that bad to me. You dropped a math class and that's not like dropping a major pre-req like organic, bio, etc. Really excel in the community college you are in and when you transfer to a university, make sure you put in the effort to prove that you are university material.
