AEGD or MS degree?!?

Hi,
Anybody has any comment about which one is the best a two year AEGD that leads to a license or the same program extended to three years with a master degree in the end???
Is it worth spending three years to get a masters degree??
(remember its impossible to take the three year master program and get the AEGD certificate after the first two years. If it was so...this dilemma would not exist 🙂

are you gonna be a GP? if so, the masters is completely useless. go out and earn some money instead of wasting another year in school.

If you are interested in specializing (especially ortho/endo), the MS degree would be very beneficial but if you just want to be a GP (general practitioner) then its not useful. My 2 cents.
