Is anyone afraid to go to NYU? There seems to be a history of this school letting classmates go intentionally and although some claim this is not an issue anymore, how can anyone know?

Stop spreading rumors about schools. I didnt even get into NYU, but if you really need an answer, call the school.

why r you posting this in the pre-dental forum? None of us have attended NYU dental....

post this in the dental forum and see what real dental students from NYU tell you

I am so sick of reading these types of threads....use the search function...and see for yourself. NYU or any other school for that matter isn't going to kick you out deliberaltely because they don't want your 400k tuition money anymore...Come on! out of 230 people if 3/4 people fail out its their fault not the schools...do some research and stop believing in these myths..

sorry...new to the forums. will post somewhere else.

phatboy, i am not trying to spread rumors. that is just what i read. i hope i am wrong.

dentalpath, i have a hard time believing any student would invest that much money and time to not study and fail out. it makes zero sense.

if, on the other hand there are only 100 available seats for year 3. the school accepts 125 and makes it their goal to get rid of 25 before year 3, the school is making money.

I see where your coming from, but i would hope a profesional school with the intent to brighten its students futures would not fall victim to the greed that the rest of society is faced with. Im pretty sure they wont scam you, once your in it all depends on how hard you want to work to get to the next level.
