Hello all!

I interviewed for my top choice school February 19th. I'm still waiting on my letter as to whether I will be accepted, WL, or rejected. Others (some) in the school-specific thread who had my same interview date, however, have stated they have received an email (in the case of the couple acceptances) or snail mail letter (for the couple of WLs).

My question is basically "should I be concerned"? My logic is that if these people received an answer but I have not, would that mean that myself and others without a message could be the rejects?

Do schools often stagger decisions they send out, even for those who interview on the same date? is it more common for the adcoms to just send out a big mass surge of decisions for every candidate on the same date?

I live in the same city as my school, so I imagine the mail being slow wouldn't be relevant to my situation (in case somebody thinks that could be why I haven't heard)

probably thinking too much on this, but let me know your thoughts. thanks!

Yes most schools do let everyone know they've been accepted the same day.

that actually makes a lot of sense and makes me feel better. thanks!

That seems unusual. I would contact Admissions to determine whether a decision concerning your application has been made.
