if i see one more of these damn HLA questions on q-bank, i think im gonna put my louisville slugger thru this the damn computer screen. i've missed everyone one of these damn questions. when the hell did we go over this in class ? maybe that was one of many MANY days i wasnt in class 🙄

I know what you mean. I don't remember much talk about HLA types in my path notes from class but I still spent some time memrorizing them but I didn't have one single question on it on Step 1. 😡
 
I had a single HLA question on my exam, and it was incredibly obvious
 
Sorry man you should memorize the HLA for big dx: SLE, RA, AS (most common). I think it's in FA if I recall.
 
Yes yet another useless fact that they want you to know. Just in case a patient presents with HLAB27.

Yes, but remember even if they don't present with HLAB27 that does not mean they don't have it :laugh:
