just took the GRE this morning, did well on the quant. 650- i'm happy with it, however i feel like i totally bombed the verbal (especially compared to my practice tests) i got a 460 😡--- so my combined score is 1110--- i'm only planning on applying to one school (due to my situation) and i can't get a hold of admissions, with the change of the test i have to take it again in the next few weeks, what do you all have? is it worth retaking in your opinion?

Anything over an 1100 is usually considered good 🙂 and you did great on the math. Whether or not you should retake it depends on which school is the only one you are applying to? And also on whether or not you really think you can improve your score.. If you have the time to devote to studying.

university of washington--- on practice tests i was getting well over 550 on verbal, sometimes into the high 600's, this test was the highest quant i've ever gotten, so i was surprised..... i was thinking of taking it again quickly and maybe only taking the verbal part-----
