Hi Guys! I have a question. My name was mentioned in a paper in the aknowledgment section. It was like this ( thanks for (X) for the acquisition of the samples) , it was a big project and my name was not in the authors section. can i put it in the publication section of the ERAS and mentioning that my name was in the aknowledgment section? thanks

Short answer: No.
Long Answer: Noooooo. You can put it in research experience though.

A better questions is, is this for the current application season or a pre-emptive strike for next year (2011 match)? If the former, you have bigger problems than this publication issue.

well it's for the next match ( 2011), wow ur answer was scary as hell ..lol. thanks for the info, definitely not gonna put in the ERAS, I had my doubts, that's why I asked 🙂

well, as I understand it, you were referring that it's a fraud to do it ( right!?)

Well, it's a lie, so if you want to call it fraud, that's fine. Could you get away with it? Probably. Is it worth the risk? No.

The "bigger problem" I was referring to was that if you were still working on this year's app, you weren't going to get any interviews since the time for that is essentially over.

now I understood what you meant 🙂..thx for the info gutonc
