Get them all wrong. That way you can show improvement on your next AKT!👍

So, whats considered 'passing' for this thing? Is it the same test as the ITE? Im just curious out of the 160 questions what is a good number to get right.

Get them all wrong so your PD thinks your'e an illiterate ass that has no business in medicine🙄

I take that thing again at the end of this month after a pretty intensive MM/lange review of ch 1-15. I tried on the 1st run, but a lot of the Q's weren't really reasoning type Q's, and seemed to be "know-it-or-not" type facts. Either way. Lemme know if y'all are set up to do the same, and I'm wondering the same Q as idio here, so if anyone can chime in...

AKT is not the same test as the ITE but covers similar material. I recall it being a bit easier than the ITE. If you're just completing internship, I would not sweat the initial exam too much. It is just a baseline exam. Again, show improvement on your next AKT after you have a month or two of anesthesiology under your belt.

If you're going to prepare, I recommend the always relevant baby Miller. Most of the questions on the AKT-0 and 1 month exam cover basic topics well covered in the Basics book.

I don't believe there is a pass/fail for this test. A few weeks later you get a printout with your score and how you compare to the national average and those in your program.

I don't know how many right put you above the national average.

Hope this helps.
