Hi, guys.
I am accepted in Worcester last December and Albany this month. I got interview in Southern Nevada and will have interview in MidWestern (AZ) soon. I did not know the result from Southern Nevada.

All these are 3-year school, and it's been 1 and a half year since I came to the U.S. I do not have even relatives here. So, I have great difficult in get information or advice. Please help me guys~ 😉

Now, I have to choose b/w Albany and Worcester. I already put the deposit for Worcester. I have not considered Albany school to avoid difficulty in decision (just stick with the first one, Worcester, to save money)..
As an international student, I want to go pharmacy shool which have more diverse cultural population and cheaper tution and fees.

I have thought that tution and fees of Albany and Worcester are pretty same. Today, I called Albany, they estimated $38000/year. On the Worcester's webpage, they estimated $55000/year. 😱 All things like room and board included. I might have wrong information, but if this is right, what makes this big difference? I do not understand because they are private 3-year schools.

If there is anyone who knows about these schools, please,,please let me know whatever it is.. This making decision have freak me out..
Please, let me have some advice, guys
I'd really appreciate your help! Good luck to all of you 😍

I don't know if you are trolling or not (I'm seeing a theme here recently) but your info on MCP's tuition is NOT right.

Tuition alone at MCPHS is over 30K per year... but the whole cost of attendance which includes room and board, food, books and supplies and transportation will be around 50K.. The 50K MCPHS listed on their website includes all of the cost of attendance.

Thanks for the clarification. Makes a big difference to me, as I live in the area already 🙂 OP said tuition and fees were 55K, not everything...biiiig difference.

Go to Albany!🙂

The on campus apartments that I was referring to are around $500/month (don't quote me on that exact amount) but include everything. My best friend lives in an apartment about a mile from Albany COP and she pays $266/month (it's really $800/month but she has 2 other roommates) but it only includes water and waste removal. Overall, the cost of living really isn't too bad.

I've only been to Worcester once (for my interview) but I have been to Albany a lot and it is a great area to be in. There are TONS of young people around because SUNY Alb is a big university and there are a bunch of colleges nearby. If you are into the bar scene, Albany is a really fun place to go out. I applied to Albany last year and didn't get accepted. Had I been accepted I would have definitely gone there. I wish I had the grades to get in there now!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.:luck:
