Anyone else having a hard time scheduling an interview at Albert Einstein Monetfiore? I emailed two weeks ago and still have not heard back. Have tried calling, and the administrative person will not answer her phone. Have left a voice mail, but not heard back. I dont know what is going on!

Hey I remember they didn't get back to my invite accept e-mail for like 3-4 days and only responded after a second e-mail. They're probably just swamped and I'm sure it doesn't mean anything. Keep trying.

What do people know about this program? I know very little about it; applied to it based on geography. How is the quality of the training? Fellowship match rates? How does it compare to NYU, Sinai, Cornell, and Columbia?

ditto as lemondate...it took 2-3 days for them to get back with confirmation of interview date.

As for its status/comptetitiveness....its definately not considered up there as as teh Big 4 (corn, colum, nyu, sinai) but it still is a very good and competetive residency to get. it falls somewhere in b/w top and middle tier. Although residents do match for cards, but not as many as those coming from the big 4....they do have good GI matches though!!!

If you got the board scores, grades, AOA...its an excellent backup if you wanna stay in the NY area!!!
