is there a relationship between pseudohypoparathyroidism (albright's hered osteodystrophy) and fibrous dysplasia (mccune-albright syndrome)?

or are these two totally distinct d/o that are conveniently called the same thing? just like there are approx 40 million diseases with "trosseau" in the name. prolific bastard!

I always remebered it as 2 distinct. But I remember having to distinguish pseudohypothyroidism from pseudopseudohypothyroidism. 😀
