This site is a joke....
The real reason people write in is to boast about their usmle score in a forum in which thier own classmates won't realize what ego-maniacal, self-promoting jerks they are.... I did as well as the majority of you did, and you know what... It doesnt mean anything.... They next time you see a patient, casually drop your score on them, or better yet give them a card with it written on top. I am sure you have them... and let me know how much quicker they are out of the hospital because of it.... Until then, enjoy stroking your egos, and the orgasmic satisfaction that you so obviously get by revealing your above average, non-standardized, exam scores....

So you are telling me that you never benefited from any of the advice posted on SDN? If it sucks so much, why do you bother coming to this website? The real reason SDN sucks is because of all the useless threads, take this one for example, started by people like yourself. It just litters the website and makes it more difficult to find posts by people who have legitimate questions or concerns.

The USMLE forum does have a few egomaniacs, but they are in the minority and if you check other forums in the site, you'll see they are very helpful. ( I got some great advice on mortgages, student loans, etc..Give it some time..I think you'll change your mind. I wish the USMLE forum was more evenly weighted for all the exams, but mostly it's a Step 1 forum. Maybe they could branch it off. I'm coming up on Step 2CK and I just hate having to wade through all that crappy Step 1 stuff again just to find the one little post about Step 2. Step 1 kicked my a$$, so I would like to forget it.. 😀
