i give up trying to study for anatomy and embryo. its all straight Cs for all anatomy questions on the exam. (or maybe Bs....dunno yet. it'll be a game time decision 😀 )

sounds like a deal to me. even on first aid, the junk that is embryo and anatomy isn't too palatable.

Guys... Seriously... Suck it up and spend one solid day and at least memorize the shiznit out of the crap in 1st aid. I did and I feel a ton better about these areas. There's no reason to blow an extra 5-10 points on step 1 cuz you blew it off... Plus, you could be unfortunate enough to receive a distribution that has a relatively large amount of anatomy like Stinger did. You only take step 1 once in your life. Remember, 'should've, would've, could've' doesn't matter once the test is over. At least give you chance to achieve what you're capable of. Of course, if the test is in 2 days, your time might be better spent elsewhere, but if you have like 5+ days left, spend one of them getting cozy w/ 1st aid. Good luck...

I totally agree with Bob. I felt like I was getting hammered on embryo (mostly because I WAS) about 300 MCQs into Qbank. I spent 2 hours (yep, just two) with FA embryo, and I've been smoking it ever since. Also, w/ regard to embryo, a friend of mine just took the monkey and says that ALL the embryo on her exam (7-10 MCQs) was embryo pathology. So look at the first few pages in FA Path too. Best of luck!

I heard that because the "all C" trick has been used so much, it's actually more productive to put down all A's or all B's. A first year PhD told us that, so take it as you will, but I think it's interesting.

i've heard if a woman wrote the test, guess c and if a man wrote the test guess b. interesting....

Took the test.. Most of the answers are in alphabetical order. Those tricks kinda dont work FYI.

Our class paid to take the Kaplan Practice test for the entire school. One guy was bitter he had to sit through it. Took him 1.5 hours, but he put all B's. Got a 19% on the test. Got 28% on Embryo, so it might be a good plan.
