Do you guys think that all the DAT exams are the same? Sometimes between scoring a 23 to a 21 in like O'chem or any other section is a difference in 1 wrong answer. That one question could have been about an IR that someone missed, while another person who scored the 23 got an easy problem like IUPAC naming or something. Also, some people get interesting topics in the RC section while some people get really hard stuff. Do you guys think some people luck out by having an easier version or when it all comes down, all the tests are basically the same.

Exams on wednesdays are usually tougher as compared to other days.....and generally the morning exams are harder compared to afternoon ones....i can say this because my exam was not easy on RC and QR and i took my exam on Wednesday and since i am not a morning person so a morning exam would have been worse...
just kidding...please take it as a sarcasm..it is 6:30AM (EST) and still writing a lab report so needed a break.....
but yes i do agree with you it completely depends on luck when you are down to 1 or 2 points.....

All DAT test should be statistically equal. Of course, you might get questions on your test that you just happen to know a lot about, but you're equally as likely to get questions that just seem impossible.

I would assume that even though the tests are different, they put the same number of easy, medium, and hard questions on each test. If you think one hard question is more difficult than a hard question on another test, that's probably b/c you didn't happen to study about that question. So getting from a 22 to a 23 isn't really luck, you just have to spend an exponentially higher amount of time studying and reviewing.
