All Schools Require Interview

Hey all,

I'm writing to see if all optometry schools require an interview? Or do some accept you based off application only saving you time/money to go out and meet with them? Thanks.

The only school that I know of that will accept students without an interview is Puerto Rico. Every other school requires an on-site interview.

most schools require an on campus interview or puerto rico can have some proxy-type interviews. i guess you could be accepted without an interview if you have stellar OAT and GPA, but unlikely. The interview is a better chance for you to get to know the school, see their campus etc, and for them to gauge you on a personal level.

Correct almost all schools interview Puerto Rico interviews but not always they will accept students without an interview I suppose if you know someone who knows someone they can "interview" you but really it's just a formality I know tht this has happened before
