When did u send ur application? My grade got messed up bc of sm mistakes so I applied to UH reallie late, like on the deadline date... I'm still waiting, this is killing me. Does any1 here apply THAT late? And have u received anything yet?
My stats is GPA: 3.85, PCAT: 80 ( but low verbal and reading) ... I'm so worried 🙁 🙁 🙁

sent my application in december, but my PCAT was a 47 at the time. once they recieved my jan. PCAT of 93 i had the interview within a week. you should get an interview though,your GPA and PCAT scores are above average so just keep waiting man.

Wow...Congrats for the interview, u made a HUGE improvement. How did ya do that? Yes, keeping my finger cross, i'm very stressed rite now thou cuz my verbal and reading score are LOW

the good thing about UofH, however, is that they retest your writing/critical thinking skills during the interview date, so they might discard your low PCAT verbal/reading. keep in mind that the average score is an 88 on the PCAT and the average aged student is a lot older than other schools like UT. Just keep waiting for the interview though, im sure you will get third round at least!

Keep your hopes up! I have been in your shoes before. I actually got the last interview date (April 30) and got accepted a week after that. Good luck!

You know, I have applied to UT, Tech, and A&M. My overall GPA is 3.8, Science GPA is 4.0 and my Jan. PCAT score was an 86 composite (About the 5th time I've taken that sucker).

I interviewed at A&M last week, but have not heard a word from the other two. Based on my PCAT and GPA, I expect to get interviews from Tech and UT as well. I don't get it. I expected to hear back from UT or Tech before now.

How long ago did you send your Tech application? I sent mine quite late, near the deadline date, and was granted an interview this past Monday so you know they are still sending interview requests. Don't worry, I'm sure with your great stats you should be hearing from them soon! 👍

Hello, I just received an interview email from UH for April 13=)! Just wondeirng, is there anyway to move the interview date (is that considered really unprofessional)? The reason is because my prepharmacy club is hosting a huge pre-pharmacy conference on the 14th and we are having meetings the 12-13 to prepare for the day of the conference. We have been planning for this event since summer of last year. Is that a legit enough reason to move the interview date? Any response is appreciated=)!

I applied back in January just before the cut-off date for early interviews. However, at that time, I had not taken the January PCAT, any my PCAT score from October was bad (61 composite). So, I didn't get an early interview. I have called them and requested that they look at my file again. I'll call again and see what the status is.

I guess they thought you wanted to know if your file was complete with all the required documents. They obviously can't tell you via email that your file is in the 'to be interviewed pile' or 'rejected pile'. I would imagine that they send out all the emails on the same day for interview invitations as they interview about 30 people at a time. This would also allow sufficient time to submit the questionnaires and personal statement that you are required to complete before your interview.

There is only one more scheduled interview date after yours, April 27. The interviews are very structured and organized with a master schedule of where everybody is supposed to be and at what time. I'm not sure how far in advance they do the schedule. It wouldn't hurt to call them and ask. To me, some things are just beyond your control (your pre-pharmacy conference and its preparation). On the other hand, it would be to your benefit to have the earliest interview date as possible as it is rolling admissions.

To all those already interviewed at TSU, they are going to start mailing out acceptance letters next week.

Hi Baby_Ghost, I got the email last Thursday 3/22 for the interview on 4/13 (Friday the 13th 😵 eeks). There is still one interview date left on April 27th according to nguyenkd, so there is hope=). I am currently trying to move the interview date back due to a pre-pharmacy conference my club is hosting, so maybe I will see you at the 4/27 interview=)! Best of luck, if this time doesn’t work out, there’s always next time. That’s what I’ve been telling myself=).

I just called UH to reschedule my interview to 4/27. Paige, the director of admissions, told me that they have not sent out invitations for that interview yet. They will most likely do it in the next two weeks. So there is still hope Baby_Ghost=)! Hope to see you there on the 27th~~

A few weeks ago you were terrified that you would not be granted an interview, and you got one. Live in the moment! Don't worry about how many slots are left or what your friends' results were. This is all about you!!! Walk into your interview with the confidence and faith fit for a future pharmacist. You'll be fine! Even if there are not a lot of spaces left...all you need is one! So go and get it! Good luck.
