Allopathic reapplicant status?

I am worried about my August MCAT and was told to apply to only one school and submit my application to AMCAS for verification a month in advance. That way, when my scores are in and I know where I stand, I can decide to apply to more schools or wait and try again next year. Does submitting to AMCAS make me a reapplicant for ALL schools or just the one school I designate?

reapplicant to just that one school, but really, your amcas id number shows which year you applied. so even if you apply to a new school next year, they will have a good idea whether it was your first or second cycle.
