Almost 6 weeks already

My application is in review for almost 6-7 weeks now. Do I have to assume that I am rejected? I feel that by now schools should have the decision made. I have one rejection and the rest of the schools are still in review. No snail mail/emails nothing. Should I start calling the admission offices?

i would definitely call and ask what the status f your app is. i had one school which was sitting on my app bc they didn't realize my committee letter was a committee letter and thought it was just a random letter and was waiting for another to come in...ARGHH!!!

definitely call and find out the status, nothing to lose

p.s. oh and keep a record in excel or something
