Doc Brown zaps Jennifer with this device on October 21, 2015.

On October 27, I will get zapped by an alpha simulator device to see what it's like.

I'm thinking these things might become useful in our field and possibly under-recognized.

I've done this before (or something similar to it). Also wrote an article about tDCS, which is similar:

I used to have an actual tDCS device (different from alpha-stim), but it's broken. I also have a colleague who has one. If you want to try it out, we'd love to show it to you... you're still down the street from us, right?

Got zapped today with an alpha stimulator. That thing worked. If I revved up the electricity I felt it work more and more. If I turned it down I could tell it was working less. I took Valium before during my LASIK procedure and the effect of that machine was much more than the Valium. The sensation was kind of like the sensation of feeling very peaceful and relaxed after being sleep-deprived. No it was not like sleep deprivation but ever not sleep for about 1-2 days and then when you get into bed you feel so much relaxed? That's what it was like.
