I have been selected as an alternate candidate for Nova for the class of 2006, If anybody is not planning to join Nova could you let me know. Your help would be highly appreciated.

I am not a GC holder, but am a Florida resident. My scores are less Part 1 80 but do have a 2 years work experience from India.

I don't know if this helps but one of my classmates just informed us about 4 days ago that she will be transferring to another dental school. She just recently made the decision. I don't know how long the school has known (I am assuming they had an inkling since you have to fill out paperwork etc for the transfer).

That's cool 😎 ....So it's a 3 yr program? and do they admit any out state applicants for the program?

I just talked to an Advance Standing student that will be in the Class of 2007 tonight. She told me that there are a total of 9 Advance Standing student in that class. She, her self have been an dental assistant here at Nova Dental the last 3 years! Further, out of the 9 AS students, 5 are AS students that did an AEGD here at Nova. So, out of 9, you have six AS spots taken pretty firmly. The other 3, I'm sure it's stable as well.

You're may have some chance yet, keep up your hopes!

what are your thoughts about the aegd at your uni?

...is it geared toward foreign trained dentists?
...do u know anything about the patient load/dentist and number of implant surgeries performed?
