Alternate list already?

Hello...I have an interview to UMSL scheduled for the 2nd of february...do you guys think that thas already for teh alternate list since their class size is so small? someone suggested i call and ask to find out whether they are interviewing for the alternate list or for the class..i think thats inappropriate...what would you do?

I don't think its inappropriate to call and ask. After all, as a potential student, you have the right to know. I know that Indiana encouraged us to call and ask about the current enrollment of the class anytime as I was making the decision about whether to deposit there or not. I don't think the current class enrollment is a big secret, and I don't think they would be offended if you asked. If you are worried they might make some note in your file, just don't identify yourself when you call, but I wouldn't worry too much.
