I see a lot of threads on the PreAllo forum. What is going on with osteopathic waitlists. Anyone care to chime in.

still waiting. 🙄

Which schools, if you don't mind sharing.

I'm still waiting from LECOM-Erie, but haven't heard anything yet. They said that alternates may be notified all the way through the second day of orientation, July 28th, as school starts the following Monday, August 1.

both of the Touro schools.

how about yourself?

can i ask what your stats were? and undergrad institution?

I'm waiting for CCOM myself, will let go of my LECOM-Erie seat if I do get in.

waiting on PCOM (Philadelphia), but i'm not holding my breath

Alternate at COMP. I see alot of postings about movement on waitlists in the allo forum. How much movement is expected in the osteo schools? My guess is not nearly as much with most schools requiring a 2G deposit. Although I have had friends come off of waitlists at allo schools and give up their osteo spot.

I graduated from Southern Utah University with a B.S. degree in Athletic Training 3.8 GPA (3.65 Science), but my MCAT wasn't so good (19Q). Plus I applied late, but I was part of the last interview group and made the waitlist. I'm kinda expecting to reapply, and retake the MCAT in August, but holding on to the hope that I'll be pulled off. Here's to hoping!
Are you in the same situation?

Waiting on LECOM ERIE AND BRADENTON! neone else? any new info?

Waiting on NSU and LECOM/B. Called NSU last week. They expected a lot of movement in June but had little. They indicated their class is essentially set except for the possiblity of one or two seats opening up.

I just got an email back from Jean Downing from LECOM-Erie Admissions. She said that there has been a little movement from the waitlist, but not very much yet. So unfortunately at this point, the outlook isn't nearly as sunny as I first thought it would be when I was first selected as an alternate 🙁 If anyone does hear anything, let me know, please! Good luck, everyone!

TUCOM-NV's has been moving a bunch. That's how I got picked up. I also got a call from LECOM-PA a few weeks ago, so someone got picked up there.

Just got the call today, will start in a couple of weeks. I was hoping to get the call, now that I got it I am just a little nervous.

Still waiting myself. Its torture. 🙁
