There seems to be a lot of websites that have data pertaining to dental school statistics but none of them agree with each other. Is there a website that comes close to the statistics of the 2017–2018 ADEA Official Guide to Dental Schools? I have a feeling that I'm going to have to give in and buy the print copy if I want to apply on June 1st.

The individual schools websites are the only websites I would consider even being close to the ADEA books in terms of accuracy, and even those don't have all the information, unfortunately...

If you want to save $40, you could do some research on SDN to figure out which schools are OOS friendly or have inexpensive tuition. Then you could research the prerequisites, shadowing hours, and letters of recommendation needed for whatever school list you create by visiting each school's website. Some of these schools don't list average statistics like GPA and DAT, so you'd have to call them without the ADEA Guide.

I think it's definitely worth the $40, but if you do buy it, make sure to cross check the ADEA Guide with school websites to make sure information is accurate. Sometimes there are errors or new updates from schools.
