I was recently diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder.

Any known connection between lithium medication for bipolar and a job on a place like a plane?

I presently work as a flight attendant, was seriously told from my psychiatrist to postpone flights for now cause of the medication possible side effects.

I just feel it is getting me nauseous and I am afraid of the sure weight gain.

I would very much appreciate any information about this matter.

I see, thank you anyway.

From now on, I will ban myself from my own thread and future threads.

Consider me gone together with my low altitude.

Sorry,

Does it necessarily have to be asking for advice? Linebored, maybe try asking about an issue in general terms such as "Do you guys know of any association between Li and altitude? Are people on Li not suggested to go on planes?"

On another note, Mary Zarnarini, who works on the Cooperative longitudinal Personality Disorder Study, has suggested that BiPolar Disorder and BPD might exist along the same continuum. They apperently have a high comorbidity rate which would suggest a similar diathesis or etiology.

Who am I?
Ultimately, I ask myself that question a lot.

Although this is not the place for medical advice… given the right holding environment felt here 🙄 :

In my modest vision, I would say that your question and behavior reflects a containment of a paranoid sphere with a mix of projected wills idealized on a soul of a bipolar/ borderline personality, which in turn reflects a perfect attunement with the nature of a schizoid id, common features of a lost in translation self.

Hope I am wrong.

Medical students wanting advices…

Sazy, where are you Saturdays night?
