I was just wondering for those of you who are currently in Winston Salem OT program or have graduated what are your thoughts? Did you like the program? What were some pro's and con's? I am currently deciding between two program's and just trying to gain a better idea why WSSU would be the best fit!

I observed an OT who graduated from WSSU's program about 3 years ago and she did not have nice things to say. One of her major issues was that one of her Fieldwork II placements fell through at the last minute and the program didn't support her, so she had to find a new site by herself.

She wasn't very complimentary of the professors either.

I have been accepted to WSSU for this Fall as well. I have heard mixed reviews about the program- positive and negative. It seems to be a little disorganized, but it is suppose to be a very improved program.

Congrats OTschool14! Are you in-state and do you plan on going?
