if i live in california but got a degree in oregon am i considered an in state applicant in california or out of state? i just went to college in oregon, i have a CA drivers license and my perminant address on pharmcas is CA

graduated HS in CA, parents live in CA, this is for admissions reasons

I would say you're an in-state applicant since you're a resident of CA. I would just email CA schools and ask to make sure.

Preference can be found in the Residency section. I looked up some of the schools (UCSD, UCSF, USC, Western) for you and none of them have preferences so out-of-state have a same chance as in-state.

yea but is that really true when they say that? because it seems like a lot of people who went to a california school are the ones that are accepted. i can see that because most likely 80% of the applicant pool itself is from a california school, what do you think

I don't know what to think and have no knowledge on this. In the end, all you have are the statistics from previous years to judge. Just put in your best effort is all I can say. I don't think you should worry about the what if's and just focus on what you need to get done, which is preparing for your interviews and enjoying yourself while you wait.

Yea 80% are from California because no one wants to leave California. California is overpriced compared to the rest of the country. Look at home prices.. gas. Etc.. Not everyone can afford living here. Most pharmacy schools have their student body consisting of in state students. Mostly because of geographic preference and being close to family. These reasons are very obvious.
