So basically this is my issue. from 0-18 years, I grew up very very poor. I'm talking like under 40k a year combined is how much my parents were making every year. It was pretty bad. Struggling to afford housing, going to bed hungry quite often, struggling to get around because of gas money, stuff like that, you get it. However, things changed as I got into college. My parents improved their education within that period through careers like nursing, and they overtime a lot now and make over 100k a year for the past 2 years. Yes, that much changed in the span of a couple of years so technically I'm not disadvantaged? I don't want to lie obviously and put something that I am not. Need advice, thanks.

Also, I think the "disadvantaged" question was removed and replaced by "Other Impactful Experiences: This question is designed to give applicants the opportunity to provide additional context about the challenges they may have experienced during their lives."

You might want to reflect on where you were relative to classmates at the starting line of first year of college. Were you behind your peers for not having had AP coursework (or perhaps not even having had the opportunity to take AP classes/exams), had you had opportunities to travel, learn to swim and/or ride a bike, visit a museum or see a professional performance of any kind, attend a HS with functioning laboratories for chemistry and biology? Not having had these experiences could put you at a disadvantage compared to other freshman. If you were struggling as a college freshman because you had "gone without" as a youngster, that can be the basis for an "other impactful experiences" essay.

Didn't travel nor learn to swim/ride a bike. Didn't visit a museum or see a professional performance of any kind. I attended the closest highschool to the apartment complex I lived in. I actually did worse in my freshman year, and did a lot better from sophmore year onwards. I'd say I was quite behind compared to my classmates. Thank you LizzyM for the advice!
