Just got home from the prometric center and I am very unhappy with myself. Well particularly with QR. Here are my scores:

QR:240!!!!
RC:320
Bio:350
Gen Chem: 320
Orgo: 300
Physics: 340
TS:330
AA:310

Now I know the TS and AA arent THAT horrible but by no means are they good. I know some schools require at least 300 in every section while I hear that other schools hardly look at QR. What's your guys take on my chances. I have a 3.35 GPA. I feel very discouraged at this point.😕 I completely underestimated my time on QR evidently.

Did you apply this year? If so, it's probably too late to retake as that wouldn't be until mid april.

Your overall scores are not THAT bad, despite not scoring as well as you'd have liked to. You still might be able to get in at some of the schools, but a lot of that will probably depend on the rest of your application (ie- shadowing/optometric experience, volunteer work/community service, etc...) None of us can definitively tell you "Yes, you'll get in at such and such" or "No, you won't get in there..." Your best bet is going to be for you to CALL the admissions offices of the schools you are considering and speak with an advisor there to find out how competitive they think you are, and what you can do at this point to make your application even stronger.

I really don't think your scores are that bad. Mine were not far from that and I got in to the schools I applied to. If you have a good GPA, good letters of recommendation, shadowing done, and some extra curriculars I think you will def get in!

Some schools recognize that QR and Physics go hand in hand because they both contain similar mathematics. Considering you did 100pts better in physics, some schools might write off the QR score as being inaccurate. I wouldn't stress too much, but I would def make appointments (especially with your first choice) to speak with an admissions counselor.

my scores for RC and QR were below 300 (not enought time) but I did really well in science sections, got accepted to all 4 schools that i applied to so dont sweat just do really well in gpa and gain some experience!

Those scores aren't so bad. I don't think math and physics are similar at all... at least the one's tested on the OAT. I would think a low RC would be worse than a low QR.

def call up the schools you are applying to and ask. also look around the accepted class statistic stuff. i got sub 300 on RC (lol idk y but its in the past now) and i got accepted to my top choice 😀 😀 hmm i dont wanna give u just half the story because my gpa is really high n i got a 380 in physics section so that outweighed it but im sure u probably have other things that i didnt like more optometric experience n more unique extracurriculars so def highlight those in your interview good luck 🙂
