I am considering taking Orgo I and II, with the lab, this summer....Is this possible? Advisable? What do you guys know about taking it in the summertime.....Thanks again in advance guys!

I wouldn't advise it. There are too many mechanisms to learn and it was hard enough to learn them all during a normal 16-week session.

I did it. Sucked @ss!! Two quarter pre-med ochem series in 9 weeks. We were peeling off chapters like skinners at a mashed potato factory. It sucked.

Sh*@ty part is it didn't even get counted towards my pre-reqs because U-Dub has a separate o-chem series for pharm school, so i had to take the equivalent of that after i took the med school one. mucho sucked.

not to say that it can't or shouldn't be done. it's just a lot of work. up side is you'll be done in like two months, which i'm a big fan of.

don't take the lab.. it will be too much..but as far as getting the course done over the summer..do it!
