Am I the only one that struggled in Engineering Physics?

I was quite surprised this semester to find how hard calculus based physics I was. I ended with a C+ and am taking physics II next semester not sure if I will do any better.

I have A's in calc, chem, bio, and orgo and generally thought I was physics minded so I thought it would be a piece of cake but not at all.

You always hear pre-meds having a hard time with chemistries; anybody else with me on physics?

Nah physics was easy. Time for u to drop out I guess.

Yes, of all the pre-reqs, physics was definitely amongst the toughest (I was an engineering major) to do well in.

Calc-based physics was a nightmare.

Got a B though.

Unless you are an engineering major, why would you take engineer physics?

Physics I was child's play IMO. Physics II was tougher.

Lots of premeds struggle with regular physics, let alone physics geared for the engineering kids.

Flew through Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc., with ~100% exam averages, but damn, did Physics serve me some humble pie...

Physics was much easier then some other engineering classes. Calc based stats sucked hard. Calc based physics requires lots of reasoning and strong calc background. Keep studying you'll be fine.

Physics is notoriously bad at my undergrad university. Averages on tests can be from 40-60%, and just end up being curved. The instructor has been teaching it like that for 25+ years now and it's dumb. Everyone hated physics.

The other base science classes weren't bad at all.

Essentially, this is how class went:

Just finished a year of Calc based physics. It was the hardest class all year. I love physics though which is why I'm a physics major. It takes really good problem solving skills, which i didn't have at the beginning of the year, to do well in physics classes. I watched many people struggle with the math and understanding/applying the concepts. Physics is a very humbling branch of science because it is not intuitive once you get into E&M, Relativity, Quantum, and anything that isn't, "block sliding down a plane". All the physics seniors and juniors I have talked to continue to tell me how they are humbled every semester. You are not the only one to struggle.
