I just received my Aug MCAT scores and got a 28, my GPA is at a 3.2 but my science GPA is around a 3.0. I am mailing out my secondaries early next week. Now being brutally honest do I still stand a realistic chance to get in?

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated 😕

I'm still not done with my secondaries yet! It's good to know i'm not the only one. It's tough to write all those essays!

Yes, you have a good chance. Don't worry. I didn't finish my stuff until Jan, and it wasn't a problem getting in.

Wasabi,
I will send out my secondaries as soon as I have the essays TOTALLY done (proofed, and revised) so I anticipate that to be the middle of next week.

Howdy,

You should be fine. I had similar scores, secondaries out by mid-January (Osteopathic only), interviews by mid-Feb, accepted at KCOM beginning of March.

This isn't the ideal timing but it is do-able.

You're not out of the game, but you shoud send those in ASAP.

Sooner the better.

Good Luck!
