I was wondering if anyone knew how reliable the frieda listings are, especially as far as hours worked, etc.? also, i am super confused about a couple of things on the listings -- first, some programs are four year programs but then they say they don't offer preliminary positions -- what does this mean (five years of residency?).
second -- the listings say that there are certain numbers of first years, second years, etc. for example, med college of wisconsin says it has 6 first years and then 21 in later years...what does this mean? do they only offer 6 prelim positions and then take CA1 later? thanks in advance

All the information is self-reported. Make of it what you will.

I suspect your interpretation of the MCW data is correct, but who knows, it could be a data error as well. I found FREIDA very useful, but only for things like phone numbers and websites.

i agree. its a good place to get started, but by no means up to date. things change quickly and these people cant keep up. many emails have been wrong for years on that website.
